Team Building With SportsAble

Last Monday afternoon Year 8 girls spent an afternoon taking part in team building activities with SportsAble at Braywick Park. Sportsable is a charity organisation aimed at promoting awareness of disability through sport and recreation.
The girls had the opportunity to participate in a range of activities, from wheelchair basketball through to sensory boccia.
Daniel Gravett, Head of Music, said:
“We are very grateful to the team at Sportsable who put together such an inclusive and unforgettable afternoon of activities, promoting teamwork and valuable life skills that I know the girls will cherish.
“It was great to see the year group working together as a team and I know that we have all learnt from this shared experience. We look forward to hopefully seeking further opportunities to be involved in the great work that Sportsable promote.”

Our Senior Boys have also been spending time at the SportAble centre. The Year 7 and 8 boys go down to SportsAble on a Tuesday after school to participate in a number of different disabled sports, which is building their awareness of disability and inclusion.
