A Turkish Gift
Last half term, our Year 7 girls had a workshop with famous children’s author of the popular Shapeshifter series, Ali Sparkes, as part of National Storytelling Week.
Ali was so impressed with the way Irmak and Nehir, who joined the school from Turkey, were participating with the story writing activities that she sent them each a signed copy of her novels 'Mind Over Matter' and 'Speak Evil'… in Turkish! Well done girls!
