They spent time in the Education Centre at the Castle, learning about murder holes and trying on different head pieces and helmets that the knights would have worn.

Emily Pridham, Year 2 teaching assistant, said:

“We looked out for the castle parts and defences that we have been learning about and found out that Windsor Castle has two baileys. Gordon, our teacher, was very impressed with the girls’ knowledge.”
