The Highway Rat Visits Lower Junior Girls
That notorious rodent thief, the Highway Rat, stormed the Lower Juniors yesterday... not for buns and biscuits but for a story and a sing-along!
Instead of demanding nuts and clover, he led the girls in a rat-themed version of the action song, 'Heads. Whiskers, Knees and Claws'. The girls also listened to his rhyming adventure written by Julia Donaldson which is based on the famous poem ‘The Highwayman’, by Alfred Noyes.
