Once the mums were shown to their seats the girls sang them a very special song 'Mumma I love you'.  Then it was time for orders to be taken and food served. There was a delicious spread of croissants, pain au chocolat, fruit and yoghurt.

Once the plates were cleared, the girls read the book 'My Mum' by Anthony Browne to their mums, and after we read the last line “I love my mum, and you know what? She loves me and she always will”, each child presented their mum with a single daffodil, a few tissues were needed at this point!

Eleanor’s mum said of the morning:

“Thank you to Mrs James and Mrs St John for organising such a wonderful morning, it’s certainly a memory I shall treasure. I have loved hearing Eleanor get so excited about the planning of this morning, and the day itself certainly didn’t disappoint (I felt like Christmas when I woke up this morning!)”
