Delancey Chess Tournament
The termly Delancey Chess tournament took place at Junior Boys on Monday 26 March with 40 pupils taking part. The tournament offered a second internal opportunity for boys to qualify for the Delancey Megafinal taking place in May.
Congratulations to Junior Boys trophy winners: 
Teo (U11 winner and 1st overall)
Nayan (U11 runner up and 3rd overall)
Josh (U9 winner and 1st overall)
Kida (U9 runner up)
The Year medals went to the following boys:
Y6 - Tavish
Y5 - Noah
Y4 - Sashank
Y3 - Peter
Y2 - Tom
Richard Hogg, Chess Master and Junior Boys teacher, said:
“Well done to all those who took part. Special thanks go to Mr Dennis, Mrs Goford, Mrs Newton and Miss Bharj for all their help in making the tournament run as smoothly as possible, and to Mr Rowan and Miss Bharj for taking the excellent photographs.”
