Claires Court Maidenhead

from Nursery to Sixth Form

Good Luck Year 11!

Today we wished Year 11 well as they embark on their exams.

It was a busy day of croissant and hot chocolate breakfasts, present giving, reminiscing, quizzes, strawberries, fizzy grape juice and awards.

The Year 11s led a wonderful assembly and the Head Girl, Deia, spoke beautifully about her time at Claires Court, what a privilege she found it to have been educated at the school and what amazing friends she has made.

The year group performed a lively rendition of Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" which was a song that was played by the previous Head Teacher, Mr Bevis, in their first ever Year 7 assembly. Advice followed from Head Teacher, Mrs Heywood, about embracing change and some tips and compliments from Mr Wilding ended the girl's final assembly as a year group.

The final part of the day saw the Year 11s release a balloon with a wish for the future. We look forward to welcoming many of them back to Sixth Form in September!

You can watch the Leavers video made by staff here. Prepare to be amused!
