The team began the tournament by finishing third in their pool, guaranteeing their place in the cup competition. Other teams were fierce but Claires Court defended superbly in all their cup games and progressed into the semi-final. The team came against Charters and drew 1-1, which meant the game progressed onto a penalty shootout. Unfortunately, the girls’ nerves got the better of them and they lost on shootouts.

With third place up for grabs, Claires Court met The Abbey in the playoff and drew 0-0. This meant another round of penalty shootouts but Claires Court this time used their recently gained experience and went on to win, to come third in Berkshire overall.
