Year 5 were given a fire safety talk which predominantly concerned fire safety around the home including smoke alarms, what do if a fire occurs, an evacuation plan, how to treat burns and the most common reasons for house fires.

They all then had a tour of the fire engine, saw all the equipment and asked lots of questions and even had a chance to sit in the cab and try on helmets.
