Berkhamsted U11 Tournament

Marking their last cricket tournament as Junior Boys, our Year 6 boys travelled to Berkhamsted School to play six-a-side cricket, with each team bowling six overs. The tournament, now in its second year, allows our team to play against some schools that they normally wouldn’t.
The team played extremely well, winning all their group matches, and facing the winners of group A in the final. After six hours of cricket in 30 degree heat, they were beaten in the final but what an excellent achievement to have gone so far in the competition. Once again, all the boys did their school proud. Well done to Finn, George, Billy, Joseph, Haider-Ali, Alastair and Toby, and extra congratulations go to Finn, who was announced as the Berkhamsted Under 11 Player of the Day 2018, having achieved 114 runs, 7-0-45-1!
