Over £11,700 Raised For Charities

We're so proud to announce that this year during our Charity Week we raised a grand total of £11,705.83 as a school community for our selected charities, Reuben's Fight, Rosie's Rainbow Fund, SportsAble, The Link Foundation, The Autism Group, Alexander Devine, and Thames Valley Adventure Playground!

Una Loughrey, Chairman of The Link Foundation, said:

"The girls were immensely sweet and I am so grateful for all their efforts. It is actually amazing how much they raised in such a short time!"

Pupil Lewis Moorby describes his thoughts on Charity Week:

“I’m really proud to be part of a school that spends so much time donating and doing things for charity. The work that the school does is just amazing! I was lucky enough to get to see what our money goes to, one of them is the Alexander Devine hospice service which the school has been supporting for 15 years. I got to have a tour of the building and it was great how dedicated some people are to helping to make sure the last of someone’s days are the best of their life.”

Every pupil took part and they organised many of the fundraising activities themselves. This year saw a sponsored silence, pyjama day, toy sale, charity walks, smoothie sale, a boys vs girls netball match and much more.
