The group arrived in the afternoon and the sun was shining! The children got stuck into their activities for the day which included Trapeze and Aeroball. The pleasant weather continued on Saturday morning during raft building and hiking however it quickly turned on them in the evening. It started raining a lot!

One pupil said, “‘I did things I never would have done before like raft building and Trapeze and I really enjoyed them!” Another added: “I feel really proud of myself because I had a go at Trapeze even though I am scared of heights.”

Poonam Bharj, Junior Boys Teaching Assistant, said of the trip:

“All the pupils did brilliantly during the whole weekend and the challenging conditions. The trip instills important life skills into the pupils and they all made new friends, showed excellent teamwork skills, took risks and learnt how to problem solve. On the journey back to school, all the pupils were were beaming with pride and a great sense of achievement from the weekend.”
