Heads for the Day!
Head of Junior Girls, Leanne Kirby, put her feet up on Wednesday when Year 6 girls Olivia and Maddie took over as Heads!
After being presented with a lanyard and diary, the girls began their day by supporting House Assemblies and then observing the Year 3 and 4 classes, helping with maths and times tables. At the Harvest Festival rehearsal, they helped support the teachers with timings.
They then had a tour of the School, and visited the Sixth Form Centre which they’d never been in before! The day culminated with the girls helping Leanne write the Head’s words for the weekly bulletin!
Maddie and Olivia said of the day:
“Being headteachers was amazing and fun. Our favourite part of the day was playing games with the Lower Juniors, and reading to them.”
