Champion schools are identified by looking at the school's adherence to best practices such as engaged reading time, percentage of students achieving 85% and above on quizzes as well as the percentage of students reading at the appropriate level.

Since implementing AR in September 2015, Claires Court Senior Girls and Boys have:

• read 117,923,135 words

• taken 2,714 quizzes

• produced 30 Word Millionaires

• Been awarded 24 Book Point Target Stars (14 Bronze, 7 Silver and 3 Gold)
