Outdoor Art Workshop
As part of the Outward Bound program, Year 6 boys had an art workshop in the woods at the Thicket.
Looking at the work of Andy Goldsworthy, the pupils studied the artists' use of colour, composition and pattern to provide inspiration towards their own Nature Sculpture.
The group explored ‘land art’; art made directly in the landscape, by sculpting the land itself into earthworks or making structures in the landscape using natural materials such as rocks or twigs.
