Inter-House Children in Need Bake Off!
Congratulations to St Ignatius who won the inter-house bake off, followed by St Francis in second and St Therese in third.
The teams, made up of five girls across Years 7 to 11, were asked to bake and prepare two cakes. One cake had to be decorated with their House colours but they could decorate them how they wished under that brief - St Francis went with under the sea (blue), St Vincent made a frog (green), St Therese did a doctor's theme (red) and St Ignatius went floral (yellow). The second cake had to have a Children in Need theme.
All the cakes were very impressive and sold within a flash during Thursday’s break time and lunchtime for Children in Need. So far, the House Captains and Deputy House Captains have raised over £70 from selling all the cakes and raffling off the winning Pudsey Bear cake. Well done girls!
