Newquay Sports Tour U11 Boys Report

Tour report by Brad Pennington, Junior Boys PE teacher:
On Thursday 8 November the boys travelled down to St Peter’s in Exeter, to play their first game of the 2018 rugby tour. Traditionally this is the hardest fixture of the tour however this year these boys came out all guns blazing and won comfortably. From there it was off to the hotel in Newquay.
Friday saw a change to the weather, with us playing Truro Prep School in what can only be described as ‘bucketing down cats and dog’s; however the boys performed excellently under the circumstances and were deserved winners in both games.
Saturday had us travelling to Falmouth Rugby Club to play against two clubs. With two wins for the A team and two narrow losses for the B Team it was another rewarding morning. So, a very successful tour with six wins, two losses and numerous new friendships made.
