They were rushed off their feet, with Murray beginning his day helping Headmaster Dean Richards present the ‘Team of the Week’ certificates in assembly. He also helped the sports’ teachers with filing the team sheets and putting this week’s sheets up on the sports board. He particularly enjoyed helping teach Year 2 sport with Mr Hine, and chairing the sports staff meeting while Mr Butterfield took minutes.

Lucy spent her day updating the weekly transport, confirming fixtures against other schools, checking availability for fixtures, presenting sports merit certificates to the Lower Juniors and sending postcards home. She also managed to fit in teaching Year 6 PE, Reception PE and Year 5 Swimming, not to mention having several hot chocolates!
