Special STEM Laboratory Trip
Well done to the two Senior Girls and four Senior Boys who competed in the Year 8 Faraday Challenge at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Didcot on Tuesday.
Faraday Challenge Days are part of a nationwide scheme run by the Institute of Engineering and Technology. During the one day STEM activity, the pupils were up against other schools and tasked with researching, designing and make prototype solutions to tough engineering problems. The girls and boys worked well as a team and showed real creativity and logic, but sadly lost out on winning the Faraday Challenge Day.
