Year 9 girls have been working hard writing and designing Spanish story books to read to Year 6!
After creating powerpoint presentations of their books with the English translation so Year 6 girls could follow their stories, the Year 9s visited the younger girls’ classroom to read them their stories in Spanish.
The Year 6 girls were very entertained and enjoyed listening and asking questions about the stories and illustrations, which included an adventure of a cat and dog, and a story about a spider pig!
Eva Urzaiz, Spanish teacher, said:
“It was a very enjoyable experience that exposed Year 6s to the work some of the older students are doing in Spanish.”
