Sharing Stories for National Storytelling Week

Stories old and new were shared and swapped in the Junior and Senior Girls libraries last week, all to celebrate National Storytelling Week.
Storytime featured tales from perhaps the most famous storyteller of all: Scheherazade and her stories from 'One Thousand and One Nights'.
The girls also shared their favourite stories with each other by bringing in a favourite story, read and loved, and swapping it for another.
Paula Copeman, Librarian, said:
“As exciting as it is to read a great story, the girls discovered the delight of sharing a story with a friend; stories that will continue to entertain and inspire long after National Storytelling Week is over.”
