Tate Modern

GCSE Art students recently embarked on a research trip to the Tate Modern, London.
The trip formed the starting point for their exam topic 'Reflections'. Pupils were guided around the galleries by their teachers and shown various approaches to making artwork.
They then had the opportunity to gather sketches and photographs of artworks and gather valuable research to start off their projects. Included in the exhibits was a heat sensitive floor and a room that makes you cry when you enter it!
