Hatched Chicks

Walking into the Nursery today you would not be mistaken to hear plenty of squealing and chirping. Following on from our post last week on ‘Hatch Watch’, the nursery children were at last able to hold the baby chicks they had been caring for. The children had so much fun watching the little chicks and some were even brave enough to hold them!
Mrs Ainsley, the Nursery teacher, commented on the occasion, ‘All the children were intrigued; some more eager to hold them than others. Many children showed great care and tenderness when handling the tiny creatures’.
All the staff and Children look forward to seeing the chicks continue to grow on a daily basis.
