Body Worlds Exhibition

Sixth Form students recently attended the Body Worlds Exhibition in London which informed them about anatomy, physiology and health by viewing real human bodies preserved through plastination.
The exhibition allowed students to develop knowledge about how the body works and how it can break down. It also taught pupils why they should follow healthy sustainable lifestyles.
Rebecca Guttridge, sport teacher, said:
“The pupils really enjoyed the trip and have said they can now relate different parts of the exhibition to their anatomy and physiology section for the A Level PE exam.”
