Bringing Learning To Life

Waterfall, water cycles and drainage basins were seen around the girls site as Year 7 brought in their impressive models they’d created for their river studies. They’ve been studying the processes of erosion, transportation and deposition, as well as how waterfalls and meanders are formed, and how humans use rivers.
Sarah Clifford, Senior Girls Geography teacher, said:
“The girls had three weeks to complete their models, which were a creative way to bring the girls' learning to life and to allow them to revise the main features of what they chose to create, to consolidate their learning from inside the classroom.”
