Joe is currently studying photography at the London College of Communication (LCC) which is part of the University of the Arts London (UAL).

Joe showed the group his portfolio of amazing photos for inspiration, which included a black and white photo of his grandparents for which he won the KS5 photography prize in the London West ISA Art competition in 2016.

His advice to the students was to constantly vary their subject matter and try taking photos of everything to help improve skills – Joe’s portfolio included portraits of the old and young, fashion shoots, and groups of protesters. He also encouraged the girls and boys to really get to know their cameras so they could take the best possible shots.
