Junior Boys House Cross Country Championships 2019

The inaugural Junior Boys House Cross Country Championships took place last Friday on a very pleasantly warm and sunny afternoon.
Every pupil from Reception through to Year 6 was given the opportunity to run and represent their house. The competition was intense and closely fought, with all competitors scoring for their house. When all the results were totalled from each year group, only 13 points separated the 1st and 4th place house. The results were as follows:
1st - Cliveden
2nd - Fawley
3rd - Windsor
4th - Dorney
Nick Butterfield, Head of Sport, said:
“Along with some great competition, the afternoon showcased the Junior Boys sportsmen in their best light with numerous examples of fantastic sportsmanship, such as runners stopping to help others and the whole school cheering every pupil across the line. Thank you to all the parents who attended and helped make the afternoon such an enjoyable occasion!”
