LAMDA Pupils take Centre Stage

Our aspiring thespians have over achieved once again with an impressive total of 66 pupils passing their LAMDA exams.
LAMDA has continued to grow across Claires Court, with this year seeing the largest number of pupils undertaking the examinations, with all pupils obtaining a passing grade and an outstanding 50 pupils achieving either a Merit or a Distinction.
Notable results include that of Sixth Former, James, and Year 7 pupil, Anya, who both achieved a Distinction. James has already begun accruing UCAS points with his Distinction for Level 3 in Communication after performing performing pieces entitled ‘Down in the coal mine’, ‘Poverty defines true wealth’ and ‘Soldier’.
Stephanie Rogers, Head of Sixth Form, praised the result:
“James can be incredibly proud of this achievement and the added breadth of his offer to any university or employer which this qualification provides.”
