Experimenting in Nursery
This week our young scientists in Nursery have been exploring colour through an experiment using water and food colouring.
Using different food colouring, the children mixed drops into the water to see how they would transform. Colour mixing is a great activity for learning about primary colours and how they change to create secondary colours .
Tara Ainsley, Nursery teacher, said:
“We put red and blue food colouring in the water tray and then watched how the water moved and mixed.”
