Bronze for U17 Feva Sailing Team at the Thames Valley Challenge

The U17 Feva Team sailed away with third place and a bronze medal when they competed in the Thames Valley Challenge at Silver Wings Sailing Club in Wraysbury.
The Thames Valley Challenge is an exciting contest between local sailing clubs and schools. Teams comprising of six young sailors competed against each other in a series of races; sailing in RS Fevas, a two-person sailing dinghy. After a slow start with no wind to speak of, the breeze picked up and the team took a number of victories. The team represented themselves well, finishing overall in an impressive third place.
Caroline Payne, Senior Boys Outdoor Education Administrator, said:
“This is great news for the sailing team, congratulations!”
