Urged to bring a picnic, festival-goers pitched up on the field to enjoy an afternoon showcase of the best of the Performing Arts Senior Girls has to offer, which is plenty! Bathed in glorious sunshine, audience members were mesmerised by the passion and vivacity of the performers as they enjoyed a varied line up, even the Nursery children could be seen joining in! The festival provided a platform for our musicians, dancers and actors, and featured some highlights from events throughout the academic year.

Margaret Heywood, Head of Senior Girls, praised the event:

“Wow, what an incredible afternoon! The energy that comes from the diverse work we do spills into such wonderful opportunities and memorable occasions as the ‘Festival on the Field’. A huge thank you to Mr Gravett and his team of wonderful performers who made this such an amazing event!”
