A Marathon of Mud

Inspired to make a difference, Year 2 pupil Harry embarked on his own fundraising endeavour by challenging himself to run a marathon’s worth of ‘muddy runs’ for charity.
Feeling inspired after watching ‘Children in Need’ last year, Harry decided that he wanted to do something to help raise money for other children in the UK and set himself a tough challenge to complete a full marathon’s worth of ‘muddy runs’, that is twenty-six miles of mud! Keen to get started, Harry busily booked in the events, even asking for entry to the runs as his Christmas and birthday presents!
Showing great determination Harry has reached the halfway mark in his challenge and still has a lot more mud to come!
Dean Richards, Head of Junior Boys, commented:
“This is great news to receive, he should feel very proud of his efforts. Well done Harry!”
