Year 3 boys and girls have been learning about Viking Life - in particular their weapons and armoury. On Monday the pupils took part in a hands on interactive experience where the children were able to try on helmets, test the weight of chain mail as well as learning about the bloodthirsty weapons such as bows and arrows, swords and daggers!
This fun history lesson meant they came into School not in their ordinary uniforms, but dressed as Vikings.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and wished that it could have gone on for longer although the Viking burial at the end was a bit too much for some!
