In Poetry, Truth
With an explosion of words, rhymes and alliteration our budding poets shined as they wholeheartedly embraced National Poetry Day.
An initiative designed to inspire people to enjoy, discover and share poems, National Poetry Day saw a tremendous display of creativity around the School as our Junior and Senior pupils busily wrote and recited their poems. An anthology of the pupils’ handiwork has been compiled into our ‘Poet-Tree’, which achieved recognition in the National Poetry Day honour roll!
Margaret Heywood, Head of Senior Girls, praised the pupils:
“Huge congratulations to the pupils and our wonderful librarians!”
