Discover Africa

With an abundance of colour and patterns Nursery pupils have found themselves immersed in the vibrancy of African culture this week.
Pupils crafted beautiful African tribal necklaces using beads, feathers and bright colours. Exploring the African savannah, the children investigated the animals which live there, using paints and other media to recreate them.
Tara Ainsley, Nursery teacher, commented:
“As a backdrop to our display, the children studied a photograph of the savannah at sunset and used appropriate colours to create it.”
