U13 ISA National Hockey Trophy Winners

Our U13 hockey team overcame Radnor House to be crowned the ISA National Hockey Trophy Winners this week!
An early start saw pupils depart for the prestigious Lee Valley Olympic Hockey Stadium in London full of excitement and anticipation for the tournament ahead. After a quick warm-up, the girls were ready to get on the pitch and show their determination and skill. Finishing in 4th place in the group stage with two wins, one draw and two losses, the team had qualified for the semi-final.
Throughout the semi-final game against Leighton Park, Claires Court was on the offence, scoring a goal from a short corner and another from a deflection, securing the win and a place in the final! A tough final against Radnor House ensued with both teams having scoring opportunities. The game was won in the final stages with a brilliant shot from Lily-Mae to clinch the victory for Claires Court.
Victoria Barrett, Senior Girls PE teacher, praised the girls:
“Fantastic work girls! Congratulations goes to Lily-Mae, Eleanor, Bethany, Caitlin W, Amelia, Ava, Caitlin F, Mia and Izzy”.
