Living in Chembakolli
Year 4 boys and girls have enjoyed living a day in Chembakolli, India. They set out for school early in the morning and had to walk through the Nilgiri Hills Forest to get to the school bus. Along the way they saw monkeys, peacocks, mangos, honey and they even saw a tiger!
Later on in the day traditional Indian food was enjoyed and the pupils made diya lamp holders.
The day was organised by Malu (Mrs Stay) who has said she was extremely impressed by Year 4's enthusiasm and also very grateful to all the staff who joined in the fun.
