Parents, grandparents, friends and office staff were seated by Year 1 and 2 waitresses who then took orders for dozens of scones and jam, served with clotted cream and fresh strawberries. The girls had to total orders and work out change, charging a bargain price of under £1 for a full cream tea.

“Our customers left delighted by both the attentive service and the delicious refreshments. Well done to all our wonderful waitresses and thank you to the hardworking staff who gave the girls the opportunity to use their newly acquired money skills in such an appealing task.”
