Young voices fill Wembley Arena at charity concert

An inspirational evening of music saw 50 of our Junior Girls and Boys join over 5000 children at the SSE Wembley Arena for this year’s Young Voices concert, featuring performances from Tony Hadley, TV’s ‘The Voice’ winner Ruti and The Shires alongside the Young Voices choir.
In aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Young Voices concerts have now raised £250,000 for the charity in the last three years.
Emma Stevenson, Head of Junior Music, spoke of the experience for pupils to sing at the largest children’s choir concert in the world: “All the hard work paid off with some beautiful harmonies and chilling tunes ranging from Queen, R.E.M and some wonderfully lively medleys from the ‘shows’. The whole evening was a wonderful opportunity for pupils to perform and was a thoroughly enjoyable experience with one of our pupils saying it was the best night of her life!”
