Ready, steady, home cook

As part of distance learning, Food Studies pupils from Years 7 and 8 have been cooking up a storm in their kitchens at home.
Thinking practically about the food supplies at home, pupils were challenged to produce a healthy meal using just five ingredients from their cupboards with impressive results ranging from tasty omelettes to delicious smashed avocado on toast. As part of the lesson, pupils applied a range of practical and theoretical skills through preparing, costing and considering the nutritional value of the meal.
