The puppet show

English pupils in Year 7 have been putting their learning into action by creating puppets of themselves to feedback their favourite examples of figurative language from Berlie Doherty’s ‘The Puppet Show’ short story.
Jennifer Ging, Senior Boys English teacher, praised the boys: “Affaan, Harry W, Christian, Louis, Arun and Will D all spotted examples of synesthesia, personification, oxymorons, similes and metaphors which they explained helped to bring the story to life. Well done 7D!”
