Online galleries showcase pupils diverse and stunning artwork
The incredible artwork produced by both our GCSE pupils and A level students throughout the year is now available to view online in two galleries.
The GCSE gallery shows a selection of artwork by both Year 10 and Year 11 Art and Textiles students. The work is a combination of their exam topic 'Event', their Mock exam 'Reflections' and the Year 10 'My World' project. Quite a few of these pieces have been produced in lockdown and we have been very impressed by the students' commitment to their work.
The A level gallery is a selection by year 12 students exploring their personally selected projects. This year we've seen students exploring topics such as body image, habitat, natural forms, decay, repetition and psychology through portraiture. Joel Wareing, Senior Girls Head of Art, commented: “We have been very impressed by the high standard of work and the way students have adapted to working in lockdown”.
