Nothing can stop play at Nursery Sports Day

Neither Covid-19 nor the typical British weather could stop our annual Nursery Sports Day from taking place this year, albeit a little different from usual.
Unfortunately due to social distancing restrictions we were unable to invite the parents and friends to watch but that did not detract from the achievements of our Nursery children, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Staying in their teams, the ‘bubbles’ which the pupils have been working in since the return to school in June, the children kept at a safe distance as they ran their various races which included hoops and distance running. On the sideline the other ‘bubbles’ cheered on their friends as they took to the track, creating quite a jovial atmosphere. Sheena Wilding, Head of Nursery, commented: “Great fun was had by all and everyone's a winner for being such a good sport!”
