Splashing good fun
This week our new Reception girls stuck more than their toe in the water as they explored the school’s onsite swimming pool in their first swimming lesson of the year.
Pupils were keen to get in the pool and during the lesson they started work on building their water confidence whilst learning some important safety skills. Katie Hudson, Junior Girls Head of PE, commented: “All of the girls had fantastic water confidence skills and loved every minute of it. At Claires Court we feel that swimming is a very important life skill which should be accessed by everyone and all of our pupils will receive swimming lessons during the school year.”
