A dingle, dangle scarecrow

As the summer sun makes way for the golden leaves of autumn, our Junior Girls in Year 2 have been learning about the meaning of harvest.
Autumn is the season of the harvest, when farmers reap the crops planted in the spring and gather together nature's bounty of the fruits and vegetables, the grains and nuts to preserve for the winter months. Hannah Tewari, Junior Girls Year 2 teacher, remarked: “As we look towards our harvest festival, the girls have been learning all about what harvest represents and have been putting their creativity to use to make their own scarecrows.”
