The tiger who came to school

Unleashing their inner tigers, our Nursery children have recently enjoyed reading Judith Kerr’s much loved picture book ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’.
With pupils on the lookout for any ravinours tigers looking for a snack or just wanting to say hello, they hosted their own ‘tiger tea’ where the children wore their newly created tigers masks, made their own sandwiches and drank lots of water, but not directly from the kitchen sink!
Tara Ainsley, Nursery Team Manager, commented: “Looking closely at the book, pupils used the story as inspiration to create many different types of tigers. It also prompted some brilliant discussions around good manners, which we decided the tiger did not have.”
