The Stone Age Diet
Linking to their ‘Stones and Bones’ topic, Year 3 brought the Stone Age into their classroom as they learned how our distant ancestors once lived.
Learning about the diets of people from the Stone Age, Year 3 got hands on in a rather smelly activity where they had a go at dissecting ‘stone age poo’. Pupils were fascinated to discover a range of different items in the remains such as grains, fish bones, berries and plants.
