Former Claires Court pupil earns Great Britain a Tokyo Olympic Games quota place

Amber Hill excelled as a pupil at Claires Court and has grown from strength to strength since leaving, now reaching new heights in her athletic career aged 23.
In 2016, Amber represented team GB in the Rio Olympics, competing in Skeet shooting. Now in 2021 Amber has earnt Great Britain a Tokyo Olympic Games quota place after winning gold at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup hosted in New Delhi, India.
Amber and her competitor entered the final on 51 apiece, but in the end, she won the shoot-off 4-3. She also hit a qualification world record of 124/125.
Amber is hopeful that she has now secured her spot on the plane to Tokyo and this is just the start of the journey. Good luck, Amber!
