Together, they created a list of actions and have been incorporating them into their school days. For example, the girls ensure they are always recycling as much as they can and they all bring in reusable water bottles. Since it has been sunnier, they have questioned the need to have the lights on every day and turn any lights off as they leave the classroom.   

After designing their own badges to show the changes they’ve made, they sent these off to Blue Peter who were very impressed! Blue Peter replied with a letter thanking them for their hard work, a class certificate for being Climate Heros and their own Blue Peter badges! A big well done from us too.
