Filming from a birds eye view
Last week at Junior Boys there was plenty of excitement as the boys prepared for the much anticipated drone filming day. The purpose of the shoot was to show the breadth of activity on offer at the school, from a cricket match in play to a battle on the lawn, as well as showing off our beautiful location and facilities.
The boys were all curious about how the drone worked, so they were given a mini masterclass in drone filming. Having previously worked in the educational field, Ben was perfectly placed to show the captive audience all the different elements of a drone, how the controls work and how to guide the landing. Some boys even had the opportunity to watch the screen and let Ben know if he had the best shot!
The day went exceptionally well due to the enthusiasm, energy and good nature of the boys. They mastered the art of ‘not looking up’ very easily and we look forward to sharing more of the footage that was taken soon. Thanks to all parents for ensuring the boys from Reception to Year 6 looked so smart and to Ben Cottman and team at www.aerialfilmandphoto.com for the footage.
